Sanyo Corporation of America (“SCOA”) announced on January 4th 2012 that it has named Masanobu (“Bob”) Shintani as a new president of the company. Mr. Shintani joined Sanyo Trading Co., Ltd. (“STC”) in Japan, the parent company of SCOA, in April 1982 and has worked for Rubber Business Group at STC. Having international experiences such as in U.S.A. for 1991-1997, and in Thailand for 2004-2008, it is the third time for him to work at overseas office out of Japan.  The former president, Mr. Manabu (“Manny”) Takano moved to Nagoya, Japan as an executive officer of Industrial Products Group at STC in January.
